Who we are
The Pfenninger Alm is a small but charming old-timber hut on the edge of Salzburg and, in summer, with its lively garden, a popular place for sociable get-togethers. Our aim is to give our guests an “urg’miatlich” (cosy and genuine) time in a rustic setting with regional specialities, cool drinks and unforgettable events. To make that happen and to organise everything as well as possible for our guests, all we are missing is you!

We are looking for
Waiter / waitress with cash handling
(m/f/d) – full-time or part-time
Your day at the Pfenninger Alm
- You take charge of your own service station and ensure smooth operations when looking after our guests
- Professional advice and care for our guests is your passion
- À la carte service in the restaurant and on the terrace will be your main tasks
- Serving food and drinks at the table correctly is a matter of course for you
- You are familiar with operating draught systems
- You ensure correct bookings and billing with our till system
- You love communicating with your guests and actively promoting offers and promotions
- Tidiness and cleanliness at your station and in all other areas of the business matter to you and you actively live them
Qualifications and training requirements
- You need completed training in hospitality & catering
- Ideally you have several years of experience in à la carte service, especially in a garden setting
Preferred skills
- You are reliable and like working independently
- You are very service-minded and can handle your tasks flexibly
- You enjoy working in a team and supporting each other
- You have very good German language skills
- A communicative and warm manner with guests is one of your strengths
- You place great value on a well-groomed and proper appearance and polite manners
- Solution-oriented action in all situations comes easily to you

Kitchen assistant
(m/f/d) – part-time (from 20 hours)
Your day at the Pfenninger Alm
- You support our kitchen team with all tasks that arise
- You are responsible for ensuring that all kitchen procedures are followed.
- You support our team in preparing all cold dishes on our menu
- Dishwashing is part of your area of work
- You help with all cleaning work as well as care and maintenance of kitchen equipment and machines
Qualifications and training requirements
- You have experience handling food
- You are used to following quality and hygiene guidelines (HACCP)
Preferred skills
- You stand out for resilience and teamwork
- You show great flexibility in your area of responsibility
- Working independently is a matter of course for you
- You have good German language skills
- A well-groomed appearance is important to you

Your salary: calculated according to the collective agreement and adjusted to your qualifications and experience
Your working hours: Wednesday to Sunday depending on the rota
