The Pfenninger Alm is located right next to the city of Salzburg – a rustic restaurant serving local dishes.
Hearty “Jaus’n” at the Alm
We also like to recommend a wooden keg from Salzburger Augustiner Bräu, available to pre-order in container sizes of 15 L and 25 L and tapped by the host or guest of honour in person. Because we always serve our food fresh from the oven or the stove, we offer our carefully selected, typically Alpine group specialities (Gruppenschmankerl) from a group size of 10 guests – they underline the authentic hut atmosphere.
Group specialities from 10 guests
We offer our group specialities (Gruppenschmankerl) for groups of 10 guests or more. So that our service team can organise an “urg’miatlich” (cosy) evening with you, please reserve in good time! For cakes you bring yourself we charge a plate fee of just €7.50 per cake. We kindly ask you to finish any performances, birthday serenades & poems etc. by 22:00, as that is when we start our entertainment music. Thank you very much!

Our story
- 2006 The dream of a managed alpine hut near the “Pfenningergut” in Wals-Siezenheim comes true.
- 2016 “10 years of Pfenninger Alm” – anniversary party on 17 and 18 September.
- 2026 “20 years of Pfenninger Alm” – celebrations from 11 to 13 September with live music, a grill station and drinks specials.
Our motto: “urg’miatlich” (cosy and genuine). We source our products from regional butchers and from our own farm fruit & vegetable trade; our suppliers come from the Salzburg region and neighbouring Bavaria.
